PDG’s Becca McCoy Wins NAMI’s Prestigious Shining Star Award

Millersville, MD – Partnership Development Group (PDG, Inc. and PDGRS, Inc.) is proud to announce that Becca McCoy, a standout leader and dedicated mental health advocate, has been honored with the Shining Star Award at the 5th Annual NAMI Anne Arundel County Mental Health Gala.

Presented by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the Shining Star Award recognizes individuals, groups, or organizations making exceptional contributions to the mental health community. This award celebrates those who inspire others through their work and create meaningful, lasting impact in the lives of those they serve.

Becca joined PDG in December 2021 as a Community Support Specialist in our Case Management Program. With deep compassion and a truly remarkable ability to connect with individuals facing complex challenges, Becca quickly distinguished herself as an invaluable asset to both our team and the broader community. Her keen understanding of behavioral health services and community resources, combined with her ability to build trust and rapport, led to her promotion to a leadership role just one year later.

Today, Becca is a trusted guide for both staff and clients, known for her unwavering professionalism and heartfelt empathy. Her commitment to PDG’s mission and the people we serve is evident in everything she does, from mentoring colleagues to advocating fiercely for those navigating mental health systems.

Becca exemplifies the very best of what PDG aims to do. Her dedication, warmth, and leadership not only elevate our programs, but also inspire all of us to strive for excellence in how we serve our community. We are honored to celebrate Becca’s achievement and deeply grateful to NAMI Anne Arundel County for recognizing her extraordinary work.

Congratulations, Becca, on this well-deserved recognition! You truly are a shining star.
