Community Spotlight: St. Anne’s Episcopal Church

For over four years, St. Anne’s Episcopal Church has partnered with PDG to provide spring and Easter baskets to needy consumers. St. Anne’s Community Outreach Coordinator Tripp Trippitelli has consistently rallied the parishioners, resulting in hundreds of Easter baskets over the years going to PDG consumers who otherwise wouldn’t have had the resources to celebrate the holiday.

Standing in the auditorium on collection day this year is truly awe-inspiring. Besides PDG’s designated 30 bins and Easter baskets, the room houses at least 100 more big, blue bins for other organizations and community members. The parishioners at St. Anne’s may have been helping PDG for four years, but their passion for helping the community has lasted decades. Their website states:

It is the mission of St. Anne’s Outreach Ministries to provide many pathways to live… in active caring for our neighbors locally and globally. We carry out these partnership ministries to build understanding, help those in need, work for justice, and expand Christ’s Kingdom in the world, which in turn enriches our own lives of faith.

In addition to this Easter basket program, St. Anne’s also provides several other community programs designed to enrich and uplift, including employment programs, back to school drives, teen camps, a Christmas gift drive, and much more.

Along with our Thanksgiving food drive in the fall, St. Anne’s donated Easter baskets provide critical food to families and children in our neighborhoods. We work hard for our consumers each day at PDG, but we want to take this moment to thank the men, women, and children at St. Anne’s who make our mission possible. Partnership Development Group is proud to have such a positive and productive relationship with St. Anne’s Episcopal Church and all they do for the community.

“We like to imagine the individuals who’ll be receiving the baskets,” Tripp Trippitelli told PDG this year. “But we want you to also imagine our parishioners who come together and bring the food.”

We surely are. Thank you to the parishioners at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Annapolis! We look forward to many years of growth and building our community together.
