Alfred Restaurant Group Returns for PDG’s 2021 Thanksgiving Meal

Chef Ashish Alfred, owner of the Alfred Restaurant Group, returned for the 2nd year in a row to supply hundreds of hot Thanksgiving meals to Partnership Development Group Rehabilitation Services (PDGRS) consumers. Alfred’s two restaurant locations, Duck Duck Goose in Fells Point and Duck Duck Goose in Bethesda, each donated hundred of meals.

“Any opportunity where I can donate my time, efforts and resources to the community, especially during the holiday season and during these uncertain times, I am happy to do so,” said Chef Ashish Alfred, Owner, Alfred Restaurant Group. “PDG is a critical organization in this region. Their work to support adults with severe disabilities in need and help them get back on their feet is inspiring, and I am proud to be a small part.”

The meals consisted of traditional Thanksgiving dishes and required extensive logistical support from PDG to deliver all meals to consumers in time for Thanksgiving. The PDG staff prioritized families and children during this endeavor.

Last year, PDGRS Executive Director said it best: “We appreciate and are truly honored to have Duck Duck Goose make this generous contribution this Thanksgiving season. It’s going to make a significant impact on individuals struggling with mental illness and substance abuse. We thank Chef Ashish Alfred from the bottom of our hearts!”
